The skies may have been grey, but the spirits were high at our recent sports day, Bright Dawn Games 2024. The event was a testament to the power of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and the sheer joy of competition.

Hosted by the wonderful Nong Kra Toom school, the day saw fierce yet friendly competition among five schools. Despite the weather, the enthusiasm of the students and their supporters was palpable, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation.

From the thrilling athletic events to the cheering crowds, every moment was a celebration of youth, energy, and potential.

Congratulations to the overall winners, Nong Hieng School. Their dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship shone through, earning them a well-deserved victory.

As we look back on this unforgettable day, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who made it possible. A big round of applause to the participating schools, the enthusiastic supporters, and of course, our hardworking volunteers and staff.

We are so excited to share with you all the incredible day we had at the Bright Dawn English Camp at Navy Phirom! This event brought together five schools and provided a fantastic opportunity for kids to not only have a blast but also improve their English skills. It was truly a day filled with fun and learning!

From the moment the kids arrived, the energy was contagious. They were eager to participate in various activities designed to enhance their English language proficiency. The camp featured exciting English games that not only entertained the children but also helped them practice their language skills in a playful setting. Additionally, interactive activities allowed the kids to engage with one another and build their confidence in speaking English. It was amazing to witness their growth and enthusiasm throughout the day.

We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to K. Nace and all the teachers and staff who dedicated their time and effort to organize this incredible event. Their commitment to education and passion for fostering English language skills among children is truly commendable. Thanks to their tireless work, we were able to come together for an unforgettable English day.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the amazing volunteers who graciously helped us out throughout the day. Hua Hin School - English Program, Green Lion, XploreAsia, K. Am, Denis, Peter, and Sandy. We cannot thank you enough for your invaluable assistance in making this camp possible. Your dedication and support are truly appreciated.

But the real winners of the day were, of course, the kids. Their smiles, laughter, and pure joy were contagious. They embraced every opportunity for personal and academic growth, and it was an absolute pleasure to witness their excitement. We are confident that this English camp has left a lasting impact on their language skills and will serve as a stepping stone for their future success.

We want to thank everyone involved in making this event a huge success. It was a truly memorable day, and we are grateful for the opportunity to bring English language education to these bright young minds. Let's continue to foster a love for learning and provide them with the tools they need to excel in their academic journey.

It was a great day when our annual Bright Dawn Games resumed after a 4-year absence due to COVID restrictions. It's so wonderful for the children to have the opportunity to come together, learn team spirit and sportsmanship, and compete in a variety of sports. We're so glad to have the Bright Dawn Games back and to be able to offer this amazing experience to all five schools!

The morning kicked off with a fun and festive parade, full of kids, marching bands, and bright colors, followed by a beautiful display of traditional Thai dancing. After that, it was time to get down to the games!

Congrats to K.Ome and his team for a great day at Nong Kra school providing a fun and enjoyable experience for all. It was especially heartwarming to see so many parents in attendance. Special congratulations to Nong Kra Toom school, the overall winners of the event. 

December saw the official opening of the library building at Nong Kra. It is fast becoming a favourite spot for the kids. 

The plan for the library was to provide activities including English, both during school hours and an after-school club to motivate the children and encourage them to read. 

K.Ome wants to organise the library for students to feel at home, divided into 3 zones:

• Computer corner.
• Sitting corner, reading, warm, comfortable, sitting upholstery.
• Reading corner with tables to use for studying books or lessons where teachers want to change the teaching atmosphere.

Nong Kra school, which has 105 children, joined the Bright Dawn school support network in May. 

We now support 5 schools with a total of 611 children and serve over 1200 meals every day.
