Roger Perrin, President
Roger Perrin has worked in Asia since 1971 and is the founding shareholder and Managing Director of Scottish and Eastern Limited, which is engaged in the business of private equity investment, principally in Hong Kong and the People’s Republic of China.
Roger was actively involved in the Breakthrough Charity Trust, which cares for over 400 disadvantaged youngsters in Hong Kong. Roger holds a MA (Honours) degree from the University of Glasgow, Scotland and a MBA degree from McMaster University, Canada.
Jill Moore, Vice President
Jill Moore has over 20 years experience in financial management in both the public and private sectors. Her past employers included Courtaulds PLC, Burton Group PLC and the UK Government. Jill is a professional member of the UK Chartered Institute of ManagementAccountants.
Donald Nimmo, Chief Executive Officer
Donny has lived in Hong Kong since 1987 after three years in the Middle East. He is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate in Accountancy from The University of Glasgow. He has worked in the Accounting Profession and Investment Banking. He has also been a Trustee of a small educational charity in Scotland for a number of years – a charity which actively supports Bright Dawn.
K. Boonlert Chareonthong, Treasurer
K.Boonlert Chareonthong is a senior partner of Kijdhana Law Office in Bangkok. He is a founder and committee member of British Community in Thailand Foundation for the Needy (BCTFN), the Foundation for Karen Hill Tribes in Thailand and the Japanese Government Scholarship Alumni Foundation. K.Boonlert holds an LLB (Hons.) from Chulalongkorn Law School and an MBA from Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand.
Pilaiwan Samran (Khun Jang), Administration Manager
K. Jang is a graduate of Siam University, Bangkok. Prior to joining Bright Dawn, K.Pilaiwan worked in administrative and public relations position in the publishing industry and also for Puma Thailand.
Nittaya Chamchuen (Khun Nita), Healthcare Manager
K. Nita is the international director of Phetcharat Hospital. Prior to joining Phetcharat Hospital in 2009, Nita worked in the healthcare industry in America and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from California State University of Northridge.

A Board of Patrons has been established to supervise the corporate governance of our charity and in particular monitor the performance of management on behalf of all donors. We are very fortunate that the following individuals have agreed to serve on this Board.
K. Boonlert Chareonthong is also Chairman of the Board of Patrons
Ian Seabourne is a former District Commander of the Royal Hong Kong Police. During his service, Ian was a co-founder and first Chairman of the Breakthrough Charity Trust which was established in 1996 to give delinquent teenagers a second and better chance in life. Under Ian’s leadership, Breakthrough grew from some 20 to over 400 young teenagers under care and achieved a recidivism rate of under 5%. The Breakthrough Charity Trust remains one of the most vigorous initiatives for preventing juvenile crime in Hong Kong. Ian was awarded the MBE in the 2009 New Years Honours for services to Youth in Hong Kong.
Richard Bird has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. Richard has lived in Hua Hin since 2006 and is the current Chairman of the Hua Hin Golf Society, which pioneered many charity projects in the Hua Hin area and is a major donor to Bright Dawn.
